A native of Moorhead, Minnesota, Bill has many years of general legal experience with emphasis on personal injury, general civil litigation, contracts, real estate and municipal law. Bill is a qualified neutral on the Minnesota Supreme Court roster for Alternative Dispute Resolution. Bill is the city attorney for Detroit Lakes and has served as board chair of St. Mary's Regional Health Center. He belongs to many community organizations and served as the Noon Kiwanis Club President. Mr. Briggs completed Certified Alternative Dispute Resolution Training in 1994 and has been involved in mediation and arbitration throughout his career.
