Dick Beardsley Fishing Report

Fishing in general has been pretty good in the area. The bass fishing continues to be very good. jig and pig, jig and tube, plastic worms, spinnerbaits, plastic frogs, have all been working well. Early or late in the day go top water and during the mid day, go deep along the sharp breaks and you will catch lots of
fish! A few large northern pike have been caught and released on Lake Sallie and Melissa using large sucker minnows in deepwater. Walleye fishing has been a little sporadic but the ones we have been catching have been coming on jigs and leeches off the sharp
breaks. Bluegills are coming from deepwater and the crappies are being caught in the deepwater cabbage. Please remember to practice selective harvesting, by
doing so we will continue to have great fishing for years to come. Have a great time on the water.
