Dr.
Morrison, family members and staff have participated in 10 missions serving
people in Guatemala, Jamaica, Nicaragua and Guyana. Missions are from one to two
weeks in underdeveloped nations. The program provides vision care to individuals
worldwide, that can neither afford nor obtain such care, with recycled
eyeglasses, treatment of eye disease and by performing eye surgery. The need for
eye care in underdeveloped nations is overwhelming. Volunteers pay their own
way. The compensation is the satisfaction of helping others.
Dr. Morrison is planning another mission in
2006.
